When you think about all the things you hate about the presentation process things like time, design, and versioning issues probably come to mind. You’re not alone. PowerPoint can be brutal, and it has always been our goal to minimize the pain points of outdated software and make presentations less of a chore. We’ve done the work on our end to create solutions and shortcuts for some of those presentation burdens so that you can work smarter, not harder.

As such, we’re constantly making updates and adding new features to improve the presentation design experience for you and your team. With the right presentation software, you can learn to love presentations instead of dreading them.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, here are 7 new reasons to love Beautiful.ai and break up with PowerPoint once and for all.

Design your deck, your way

It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned designer, or this is your first presentation and you need training wheels to get started. You can design your presentation in Beautiful.ai with as much or as little restraints that you need. Sometimes Smart Slides are exactly what you need to handle the heavy lifting of design, and sometimes they only get you 95% of the way there. Now you can make those final tweaks to Smart Slides by choosing to break the design ai and convert them into Classic Slides. Our Smart Slides will always be there to act as a guardrail for design, but the choice is ultimately yours.

Download to PDF (or PPT)

We recognize that not all situations allow you to present in Beautiful.ai. But that doesn’t mean that you need to spend 8 hours cobbling together a mediocre deck in PowerPoint. One of our coolest features is the ability to design in Beautiful.ai, and export your deck in an editable PowerPoint file. This saves you time on the design, without compromising your final deck. But that’s not all. Now you can export your Beautiful.ai presentation to a PDF file. Giving your viewers the option to download a PDF right from the player is perfect for static copies or offline review.

Expiring links

Sometimes you need to share a link to your deck, but limit the visibility of a proprietary presentation. Similarly, your presentation may be time-sensitive and you don’t want people viewing it 3 months from now. One of our newest features unlocks expiring links. You can now create time-bound access to presentations by configuring expiration dates for your shareable links.

New icons

Icons are a great way to emphasize a key point or call out a specific piece of data. It tells your audience exactly what you want them to pay attention to on the slide. We offer a free library of hundreds of custom icons for you to choose from to help take your story to the next level, but that’s nothing new. Here’s what is: we’ve added 180 new icons so far this year that you can use as you wish in your presentation.

Video

In a world where TikTok is demanding the attention of nearly every generation, videos are becoming increasingly popular and impactful. Sure, photos can make your presentation look beautiful but a video can really engage your audience. One of our newer features enables you to add videos to your slides for visual impact. We’ve even gone so far as to add a stock video library of nearly 100,000 free videos right there in the product so you can find the perfect content for your slide without ever having to leave your deck.

Innovative integrations

It has always been our goal to help teams work more efficiently to help them scale more seamlessly. While Beautiful.ai solves the pain points of presentation design, we recognize that teams have a need for other platforms and softwares, too. To help facilitate collaboration we’re doing the work to integrate Beautiful.ai with your existing workflows so that you can continue to build and manage the best presentations alongside your other dashboards and documents. Some of our integrations include Slack, Dropbox, and Monday.com

Team collaboration

Is team collaboration new? Technically, no. However we’re constantly making improvements and changes to our Team plan and features so that your workflow is more efficient and seamless. Things like requiring viewers to provide their email before viewing your presentation allows you to get more granular with your analytics, while new Team Folders and Team Templates keep everything on-brand and under one roof.

Do we have you convinced to break up with PowerPoint? Spread the love and get a $10 credit every time you refer Beautiful.ai to a peer and they sign up for a Pro account.
